MEMORIAL HALL OF FAME SCHOLARSHIP
Named in recognition of all the Modesto USBC Hall of Fame Honorees. This scholarship is designated for amateur high school seniors who have compiled a strong USBC Youth sanctioned bowling record at the local, regional, stste and national levels in addition to displaying a solid scholastic aptitude and school involvement. A total of up to $4,000 is made available for award each year. Not all monies will be awarded every year.

DIRECTORS SCHOLARSHIP
Named in recognition of all the Modesto USBC Directors. This scholarship is designed for USBC Youth bowlers or high school students of parents or grandparents who bowl in the Modesto USBC sanctioned leagues. Those students qualifying are eligible to apply each year, while in high school, for a $125.00 scholarship. These scholarships are independent of the Hall of Fame scholarship awards, and student eligibility is independent of the student being a bowler. The award may be granted to two (2) male and two (2) female applicants. All funds will be held in trust under the SMART program.

ED BLOMDAHL'S MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Named in recognition of Ed Blomdahl. Ed was a member of the Modesto Bowling Association and Modesto USBC for 48 years. Ed served in many capacities on the boards including President, Vice President, Director and Association Manager. Ed also served on the California State ABC board as President, Vice President and Director. He was also the President of the Senior California State Association. He was a certified youth coach. He worked with youth bowlers at Modesto Bowl, McHenry Bowl and Yosemite Lanes. He was elected to the Modesto USBC Hall of Fame for Service in 2004. This scholarship is designated for amateur junior high school and high school bowlers, grade levels 7 through 12, who have complied a strong USBC Youth sanctioned bowling record at the local, regional, state and national levels, in the past year.
